Online digital audio transcription services, available to
you at the click of a button (or two!). No job is too big or
too small. So, don't think twice, outsource your transcription
assignments to me and I shall give you the service you are
looking for.
I have been an audio / dictaphone typist for some 25 years
now and am passionate about my work, which is why I decided to
make it my business.
My work experience started as an audio / dictaphone typist
for a professional (educational) institute, whereupon I was
employed by a firm of insurance brokers in the same capacity,
as well as holding the positions of personal assistant to the
M.D., and supervisor of the word processing department at the
same firm. I then relocated and was employed as a managing
agent in the property sphere (sectional title complexes /
homeowners associations).
Approximately fifteen years ago, whilst in full-time
employment, I started my typing service from home on a part
time basis. As the demand for my services increased, I decided
to resign from my full time employment and have never since
looked back.
My regular clients comprise an industrial psychologist, a
loss adjustor (insurance assessor) and various consultants in
a number of professional disciplines in the private and public
sectors. I work on a retainer basis for one of my most regular
clients.
Students: if you are busy with your
studies, whether it be an honours, masters or doctorate,
contact me and I shall type your thesis at a negotiated
rate.

In the meantime, about three years ago I started
experimenting with website building (my own website being the
first!). I find this very exciting and a great challenge.
Approximately two years ago I was approached by friends
to create and assist with publishing a website for them.
This gave me the opportunity to experiment further and learn
more.
